Constant monitoring of the situation is carried out in real time to identify the phenomena in progress and predict their evolution in the very short term.
NOWCASTING BULLETIN
Nowcasting bulletins are processed and sent with the expected evolution for the next 3-6 hours to identify the timing and intensity of meteorological phenomena with greater accuracy.
H24 METEOROLOGICAL SUPPORT
The team of forecasters provides direct support (via telephone or team working platforms) to the Customer during critical phases characterised by storms and snowfall.
LIGHTNING MONITORING
TOTAL LIGHTNING
Total lightning activity is constantly monitored (intra-cloud lightning and cloud-ground lightning) thanks to the monitoring network operated by Meteorage.
AUTOMATIC ALERT
An automatic and real-time warning system is set up for lightning strikes within the distances defined by the specific characteristics of each airport.
REDUCTION OF SUSPENSION TIME
Lightning monitoring allows the user to minimise downtime for ground operations, reducing the organizational and economic impact caused by thunderstorms.
