The webinar for the presentation of the REACT project (Resilience and Adaptive CapaciTy in agriculture), the innovative platform at the service of agriculture, was held on Thursday 27 May.
Radarmeteo, Idea-Re and K-Digitale, the three companies that developed the project, with co-funding from the European Union and Veneto Region within the scope of POR-FESR funds, presented the interim results obtained so far to the world of agriculture, along with the potential of the platform, which collects and intelligently exploits data from multiple sources, making agricultural practices more efficient and sustainable.
Speakers at the webinar were
Alberto Garinei, Full Professor of Mechanical and Thermal Measurements at Rome’s Guglielmo Marconi University and scientific director of Idea-Re Srl, who led the webinar and gave a general presentation of the REACT project;
Massimo Crespi, CEO of Radarmeteo Srl, who explained how every application in the meteorological field requires a specific and representative dataset for its functions. The slides of the presentation are available for download at the following link: REACT webinar-Crespi_Everyone has their own meteorology;
Gianluca Ferrari, Chief Data Analysis Officer of Radarmeteo Srl, who illustrated how to optimise the management of representative data for agricultural applications.
